HOW MANY IMAGES CAN WE EXPECT?

I edit all of the good ones. This means I only remove shots of people blinking, making weird faces, or exact duplicates. This ends up being a minimum of 100 images per hour of shooting. I tend to over-deliver, so you’ll have plenty!

DO WE GET PRINTING RIGHTS?

Absolutely! You have full printing rights to all of the images. You have the option to print through my site, but you can also download and print them anywhere you’d like.

HOW MUCH IS THE DEPOSIT AND IS IT REFUNDABLE?

My deposit is 50% and is non-refundable.

HOW LONG DOES THE GALLERY STAY UP?

A min. of 5 years. However, they will most likely stay up forever.
If I ever plan to take them down someday, I will give you plenty of warning.

DO YOU SHOOT MORE COLOR OR BLACK AND WHITE?

I shoot all color, but I also edit a ton of images in BOTH color and black and white. You’ll have both options.

WHAT DO WE DO IF IT’S RAINING AT OUR ADVENTURE SESSION OR WEDDING DAY?

For engagement sessions, we have a few options. If it’s not a torrential downpour, we can absolutely power through the shoot. However, if it’s raining too hard, my equipment could get damaged, and you will be miserable, so it’s best to reschedule. I will watch the weather closely as the date approaches, and discuss options with you leading up to the scheduled date.

For weddings, I always bring something to protect my camera just in case. If you’re up for it, I love getting umbrella shots in the rain. I am also very accustomed to shooting indoors, so I have no problem with moving things inside.

DO WE NEED A SECOND SHOOTER?

I shoot 95% of my weddings on my own. It’s rare that a wedding requires a second-shooter, but please contact me if you think yours will, and we will discuss options.

WHAT IS YOUR TURNAROUND TIME?

For engagement shoots, my turnaround time is 2 weeks. For weddings, my turnaround time is 5-6 weeks. My contract states that I have up to 6 months to deliver photos, but reserve this in case of some kind of emergency.

HOW DO YOU ACCEPT PAYMENT?

Venmo or check. I can accept a credit card through PayPal if necessary, but they
charge a fee, so this would be added to your price.

WHAT IF SOMETHING COMES UP AND YOU CANNOT MAKE IT?

This has never happened in my career, but my contract does keep you safe in case something like this happens. It states that I will send another photographer of similar shooting style to cover. I will always make sure you are taken care of.

WHAT IS YOUR EDITING STYLE?

I would describe my editing style as mid-toned, classic, a little moody, and natural. I really obsess over my editing. It’s one of my favorite parts of the process. Every wedding is different, and it’s important that the colors fit the style of the wedding, while still being consistent with my own individual style.

WILL YOU DIRECT US ON POSING?

Definitely! Although I have a candid style of shooting, I actually do a lot of directing at my shoots. I’ll tell you where to stand, what to do, and give you actions to perform. I leave room for interaction and am always watching for the moments you forget yourself and relax. If you’re a bit uncomfortable in front of the camera, no worries! 99% of my clients are not professional models, so they feel awkward at first, but trust me, once we start shooting, you’ll relax and have fun.

DO YOU SPECIALIZE IN OUTDOOR OR INDOOR WEDDINGS?

Both! Poke around my website and you’ll see I’m used to working in all types of spaces including hotels, barns, restaurants, and open fields. I’ve done it all and love it all!

DO YOU HAVE A MIN. FOR SATURDAY SUMMER WEDDINGS?

Yes, I do have an 8 hour min. for Saturday weddings during the summer. Please check with me to see if your date falls within this rule.
