Ariel + Patrick’s Cathedral Park Engagement Photos

Patrick chose to propose to Ariel on a beautiful, sunny day under the Saint John’s bridge at Cathedral Park in Portland, Oregon. I was so excited when his friend reached out to hire me for their shoot. Never seeing Ariel and Patrick in person and having to be incognito since it was a surprise made me a little nervous. But I was prepared and ready to go. Patrick took his position and dropped down on one knee to propose to Ariel, and it was perfect! She was so happy and overjoyed, a truly wonderful moment between the two of them. I came over to introduce myself and chat for a bit to get to know them, a very bright and sweet couple. Once we got to know a little bit about each other, we moved throughout the park and played and had fun capturing their love for one another. These two were very fun and comfortable in front of my camera, I had such a great time working with them.
